Last week, we talked about the virgin birth. Remember the elements of surprise, redemption and transformation in that story? This week is a new story, but with the same elements. Jesus is introduced as not only the Messiah born as a baby - but is recognized as king. And as we celebrate Advent, now thousands of years later - again Jesus has gone away, but with the promise that He will return.
