Transformation is the inward change that we experience when we become more like Jesus. It is a process that is ongoing throughout our lives. Our vision statement at SCF is to “Encounter God’s Transforming Love.” How do we do that? (Four R’s) Respond - Restore - Release - Relate. Over the next 4 weeks we are going to review the 4R’s just as a reminder of what we have committed to do as a church, but we will be doing so as part of the ongoing process of transformation.

Jesus released his disciples to go into the towns of Judea. His strategy was to work through people. Discipleship and sending has always been the plan; multiply by reproducing Jesus-followers. Bringing everything under the authority of Jesus Christ and releasing the power of the Kingdom to transform humanity. As people are restored, it naturally leads to a release of God’s power and of the gifts that are in each of us.
