The heart of Jesus’ teaching and ministry is personal and spiritual transformation. The word that the Bible uses is “metamorphosis” - it speaks of a total transformation from the inside out. Transformation is a process. It is amazing to see the transformation of an insect which basically resembles a worm into a beautiful flying creature. Isn’t it also beautiful to see God transform a selfish, sinful person into a beautiful child of God who reflects His image?
