What makes a disciple? Jesus had twelve men who followed him, literally - they went with him as he travelled around the countryside teaching and ministering to the people. They were called disciples - which means “learners.” Disciples not only learn information, but they are given assignments in which they must practice and apply what they are learning. Eventually disciples come to represent their teachers and their teaching. Discipleship is not complete until you completely resemble the one whom you are following.
