Given what Jesus says about how we should live and what He demonstrated in His own life, death and resurrection, we will find that the way Matthew tells the story of Jesus is meant to introduce us to the renewed life that we have in Christ. But what does that actually look like? How do we relate differently, to God, to ourselves, and to others because of who we are becoming in Christ. How do you explain to a caterpillar who only knows how to crawl, what it means to fly? First of all, don’t be too hard on yourself, its a process! But it is a process that we should be engaged in - letting God transform us by transforming how we relate.
