Sermon Title: Does the Bible Teach that the Earth is Flat?
Text: Psalm 24:1-2

During the months of June and July, I am preaching the sermons that you requested. I call it, “Hot Topics.” A hot topic can be a scripture that you don't understand, a question that you have or a subject that you think we ought to talk about. Each week is a different topic making this a summer series that you won't want to miss!

This morning’s sermon is a question that I thought was rather interesting, “What do you think about flat earth?” Believe it or not, there is a lot of buzz on the internet these days about the flat earth movement. I have met some of these people and they are mostly people who have become mistrustful of scientific claims, especially where it seems to contradict scripture. This question highlights how we read and understand the Bible and it is also a good exercise in discerning what is true and how to know the difference.
