Visiting
What to expect at Spring City Fellowship

There is no dress code. People dress up or come casual as they prefer to. You do not need to be a member of our church to partake in communion which is held regularly, but not every week. Everyone is welcome to join in worship.

Our Sunday Service begins at 10:15 am. You should plan to come around 10 am. A greeter will meet you at the door and offer you a bulletin with resources and announcements. You can ask the greeters any questions you may have about the church or the service.

Some people come early at 9 am for Bible Study. This is an interactive time of studying the scripture led by one of our leadership team. It goes until 9:45 when our worship team has their practice and sound check. Coffee and refreshments are available during this time.

The service begins with worship. The blowing of the shofar begins the gathering just as it did for Israel in the Bible. The songs are a mixture of traditional and contemporary. Some of our people are expressive in their worship. You may see hands raised, banners waved or dancing, but it is not expected of everyone. We realize that people have different spiritual experiences. What is important is that we come to meet with God.

Children (ages 12 and under) are dismissed during a break in the service for offering and announcements. The offering is voluntary; you are not expected to participate as a visitor. If you received a visitor information card when you came in, you may fill that out and put it in the offering. On the card is also place to share prayer requests. We will not bother you with a lot of messages. Just a brief follow-up to invite you back.

The sermon time is about 45 minutes with a closing song to follow. There is place to take notes on the back of your bulletin and a fill-in-the-blank outline is sometimes included on an insert. Sermon audio and live stream recordings are available through our website. At the end of the service it is appropriate to respond to the message if you so desire. The altar is always open for prayer. If you have a specific prayer request, feel free to approach any of our leadership who will be glad to pray for you.

The service normally concludes between 11:45 and noon. Feel free to stick around for fellowship. We are a friendly church that wants to get to know you. We would love for you to be part of our family.

I look forward to seeing you Sunday!
