Respond means that we consider what Christ has done for us and we are prepared to act in response to that knowledge. Earlier this week, the weather forecast started predicting a huge winter storm this weekend. Some of the more responsible forecasters where careful to point out that things could shift north or south and that would make a big difference in what we get. But the point is that just knowing there was a possibility - we began to prepare for action. That is what it means to respond.
